Athens - Ohio University - the most haunted building on campus is on West Green.
County records show that the dorm was built over an old Native American burial cemetery!
Students have reported seeing ghostly apparitions, hearing strange voices,
mysterious slamming doors and flying objects in their rooms!
Athens - Ohio University - Washington hall - there was a girls basketball team staying in the dorms at
Washington hall for a basketball camp, and they were killed on the way home after camp,
all of them were killed in a freak bus accident, ever since then they've haunted
the arch of Washington hall and it's said that if you stand under the arch
long enough you can hear the girls bouncing the balls and giggling!!

University - Wilson Hall - Reports of banging, cold spots, blood appearing
on the walls no matter how many times it was painted! Other strange phenomena
such as the face of a demon showing up in the wood grain on a dorm room door,
where a strange girl believed to be possessed committed suicide!!!!
Shadowy, ghostly figures have been sighted by many students here!
The Hall's curse is that it sits dead-center in the middle
of the five "pentagram cemeteries" around Athens!!

mental hospital has rumored to be haunted, locals have reported seeing ghosts walking the halls and
standing at the windows of the Mental Asylum when its locked up tight with noone home!!

One of the darkest legends in Amelia is Dead Man's Curve, a Dangerous
turning intersection in Clermont County, Ohio. The road was part of
the Ohio Turnpike built in 1831, and has a long list of Victims!
On October 19, 1969, five teenagers died there when their 1968 Impala
was hit at more than a hundred miles an hour by a 1969 Roadrunner.
There was only one survivor: a guy named Rick. Ever since that day,
the intersection has been Haunted by "The Faceless Hitchhiker" BATAVIA, OHIO, CLERMONT COUNTY INFIRMARY:
Ghosts were seen often at the infirmary before it was torn down,
especially after it was closed down. Dishevelled women and men were
seen in the windows, and lights flickered in upstairs rooms even
though the power was cut! Now the Clermont County Womens Jail is sitting
on top of the burial ground of the occupants of the Infirmary!!

kid chained in the basement. Witnesses said that the parents home was struck by Lightning!
The bodies of both parents were found dead, but all that was found of the boy was his hand!
Now wearing a hook for a hand, the boy (now a man) has Haunted the road for years,
wrecking havoc on all who stop there! Witnesses have seen a man with a hook walking along
Pond Run Road at night! Also reports of "Spooklights" crossing the road in front of cars!
Ever since then the "Hook Man" has prowled Pond Run Road, which was a popular Lovers' Lane
for years. Many parts of Pond Run Road are creepy looking and over-grown
